Your data will be sent through a secure courier to wherever in the world the data is required. Some levels of service include express dispatch free of charge. Generally, the data will be recorded on CD-ROMs or DVD-ROMs. However, if the volume of the information is high, you can purchase, through us, an external USB device or similar, or we can record the data on a hard drive or other device provided by the client.
In most cases, shipping costs are at the client’s expense. All of our clients also have the alternative of receiving the most urgent files through the Internet, while they wait for the physical copy of the information.
What is the cost of the service?
The cost of the service depends on the kind of damage the device presents. You can request for an online estimated quotation that will give you an idea of the cost of our services, but it is impossible to determine the exact cost before your device has gone through an evaluation.

Can my technician recover my data?
In some cases, the answer is yes. Yet in many others, a recovery attempt without the adequate knowledge and or tools can result in irreparable loss. Without the intention of discrediting your technician, vast experience and specialized equipment are needed to tackle a data recovery process.
Why is a Clean Room required to recover data?
The reading-writing heads of a hard drive are placed at only a few microns distance from the plates, held in position by a carefully designed air cushion. Any dust, smoke or other material particle can easily collide with the head and cause what is denominated as a “Head Crash”; or in other words, the collision of the heads on the magnetic surface of the plates, causing a microscopic abrasion that destroys the magnetic substrate over which the data is written. Due to this, a particle-free environment is needed to be able to work inside a hard drive. This kind of environment is achieved within a Class 100 or ISO 5 Clean Room.
Recovery is possible in most cases. However, there are times when it is not posible to recover the information. For example, when a ‘head crash’ is produced, or in other words, when the heads collide with the surface of the plate, damaging the magnetic substrate where the information is written, recovery is not possible. In this and in some other specific cases, it is not possible to have successful recovery processes.
