Kepler Launches 2008 South Florida Data Recovery Tour

Florida, 04/29/2008 Nowadays, an important part of people?s lives is stored in computers, servers or portable devices. Losing information by accident or due to hardware failure can have catastrophic economic and emotional consecuences. Facing Data Loss is a situation not many people are prepared for. When despair hits the fan, desperate measures come into play and it is particularly those amateur attempts of recovering information that end up being your data?s worst enemy.

With this in mind, and in an attempt to educate the general public about correct data management, Kepler decided to launch a tour around South Florida with presentations that address questions like ?What would you do if all of a sudden you lost all of the information stored in your computer? How can I preserve the integrity of my data? What do I do in case of an emergency??

nullThe first of these presentations was given by one of our Directors, Orlando Gaete, at a business breakfast held by the Venezuelan Business Club in Weston. With a turnout of over 150 of its members, the event was a total success. Teaching people how to correctly manage their data is the first step to avoiding data loss. However, in case anybody were to suffer from it, they will now know who to turn to for a second chance with their data.
